Just about a year ago I felt like I was dreaming walking around a Viennese palace with these two who wed just two days prior. Happy anniversary Nathan + Kathi! I’ll forever be jealous of your wedding portraits but I can’t thank you enough for trusting me to capture your day. ✨✨✨
Jess had always dreamed of eloping in the mountains but feared how her and Josh’s families would feel about not being included on their big day. When their wedding wasn’t all they hoped it to be, they decided to make things right and renew their vows right here in the Rocky Mountains. To all my future brides: your day should be everything YOU could ever imagine. Not what everyone else imagines for you. I am so happy she followed her instinct and booked our session. I think her face says it all! ✨
Picking a destination to elope is a tricky thing... I think Josh & Jessie's decision to elope at the end of a rainbow was the best decision ever! Emerald Lake truly is magical! Give me a ❤ if you agree!
They eloped in Squamish with their favorite aussies. It was supposed to rain all day, but we waited in our cars for 5 minutes to see if the shower would pass... then ran out and set up chairs in this field. The list of adventures they’ve had together is serious #goals (starting with moving here from Australia 9 months ago)... so they wanted to give their family an adventure also.
And there they go.
So effortlessly at peace.
Showing their raw, true selves without worry.
Living one wild adventure at a time and hoping to carry it for the rest of their lives.
