MAKE TIME 🌟 make time for the things that matter. Coming to the end of 2018 I have done a loooot, and worked a loooot & played a looooot. Some things have fallen off though - I didn’t travel as much as I’d like, I don’t feel like I made enough time for friends and family, and I made excuses for letting my exercise slide. Nooooo more 🙅🏼♀️ Finally slapped myself with a little bit of reality that if I want something bad enough, I’ll make it happen, so that’s just what I gotta do. Here’s to holding myself more accountable before the time passes too quickly.
Another Sunday, another smoothie picture! 😋 this week’s smoothie was strawberries 🍓 bananas 🍌 and coconut 🥥 water with whey protein! So so good! Boy does fitness look a lot different on me these days (pic. is pre-pregnancy). Now that I’m 18 weeks, I can for sure tell a difference in the movements that I do and how they make me feel. I’ve scaled back on the intensity a lot. Lately I’ve been doing a little more cardio — it’s been helping my neck tension and headaches. I try to run or do the elliptical for 30-40 minutes and then walk. On good days, I do light weight training and focus on my legs and arms. I’m excited to get back to KC in a few weeks to work in more barre and cycling. It’s the perfect mix for my body right now.
