@nonapearl just released a design we’re kinda in love with. Birmingham Cowl! You can use one color like she did on the left or two contrasting colors as you can see on the right. Gotta love how #brioche plays with #color and #texture
We are running a discount for the next few days on our Yaksi Finger and LaKuna Fingering and also donating 10% of sales for the next few days to #raices. The cowl Nona’s lovely husband is sporting is knit in our Yaksi in the Farmhouse colorway! Coupon code is: birmingham18

An up close look at the Dempster Mittens I made on a whim on my trip. ➰
These mittens are not perfect but they may be the knit I am most proud of. I am not a huge fan of making mittens and I’ve only made a handful of them. But I made these with no pattern, no help from the internet as we had no cell service, and was able to do it with the materials I had brought along with me. ➰
I am planning on writing a pattern for these closer to the fall. As I have a few corrections to make and my plate is pretty full right now. I do need your help though - what is your fave method to close up the top of mittens? This was the part I struggled with the most. I tried Kitchener Stitch, pulling the tail through the stitches and landed on a 3 needle cast off. I’m not very experienced with mittens so any suggestions would be appreciated!
