Finished the front shaping and attached the front and back last night. I was a little worried about the Noro color changes, but I think they came out ok. Now sleeves! I spent most of the morning (while the kids did math and literature) lining up the Noro for the sleeves. I don’t care that the sleeve color changes won’t be at the same rate at the body, but I want both sleeves to match. I think I got it, but time will tell. If anyone is still here at this point ... 😘
If you could drop everything (unfolded laundry and sink full of dirty dishes and all) to learn a new craft right now, what would it be? I just went down the rabbit hole of amazing embroidery designers on insta, and have total 😍😍😍 I'm obsessing over @floralsandflossembroidery and @petronella.art! I highly suggest stalking their feeds if you like looking at pretty things 🌼

Yesterday I finished the excellent audiobook of A Tale of Two Cities narrated by Simon Callow!
This is a fast paced historical fiction set between London and Paris during the French revolution and the violence that ensues. The female characters other than Madame Defarge were very under-developped but the electric, pacey prose carried me through - I loved it! Also there's lots of knitting, always a bonus.
What should my next Dickens be?
