Have you been to Egypt 🇪🇬? As a solo female traveler, I was hesitant to go there at first, but after spending time in the peaceful country, I highly recommend it. The thing is, you have to know the right people and coordinate your trip a bit. If you're planning on going or want tips, send me a message and I'd be happy to answer your questions! ~Abydos Temple, Egypt 🇪🇬~
It’s Travel Tuesday! 😆 I know I’m SUPER excited because tomorrow’s the day. I’m finally leaving for Capetown, South Africa. So excited to share my journey and fun times and LOTS of blog posts with you. From chatting about my upcoming trip I’ve gotten a lot of tips from people I want to share with you. Some you may already be aware of others were a “hmmm that’s interesting… “So I’m hoping you find it interesting too!
1. Bring and Take Probiotics - Probiotics are good for your tummy, so if you’re someone who tends to get an upset stomach bring with you of your travels. You’ll be in a new country eating different food so anything preventive is always great!
2. Register for the Smart Traveller Enrollment Program (If you live in the U.S.). This lets the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate know that you will be in the country if anything were to come up during your travels.
3. Purchase a Life Straw or Brita Water Bottle - This is mostly if you’ll be traveling into areas where water sources might not be the best. Clean water is too important and we don’t realize until we don’t have it unfortunately.
Have you tried any of the above when traveling? If so, let me know below or let me know of any other helpful tips you may have. Xoxo
This gem is a throwback from the last time I went out of country (can’t believe it’s been two years!!!) to Barcelona. 📷: @filma_t
When I first started researching things to do in Kuala Lumpur the majority of guides I read said it’s a great stopover city that you don’t need to spend more than a day in. So I was surprised when I arrived at how much there actually is to do there! I think it warrants at least a three day trip to check out the best spots, like the Petronas Towers.
Which I was terrified to see knowing we were going up in a sky box to overlook these very tall towers. #scaredofheights 😰
