My mum just turned one year wiser and I’m so grateful for our relationship. It hasn’t always been easy of course. Like any mother/daughter relationships we’ve had our lows. And even now sometimes, I don’t understand her and she doesn’t understand me. But we have learnt to listen, accept and love each other no matter what.
With her I can get into deep, soul conversation that give me energy and inspiration for my life. I don’t see her as just “my mum”, I see as a woman, with her own fears, questions and unique gifts. She is a beautiful human and I’ll always be grateful she offered me so much love, support and trust.
How do you cultivate a healthy relationship with your care takers? And, if you are a parent, what are your challenges in your relationship with your children?
I took this picture 2 weeks ago when we came back from a self growth workshop in Paris. Happy birthday mum, keep being awesome. 😘✨🙏🏻
