#ThirtyDaysOfGratitude Day 12 - Veterans
Today, I am grateful for the service and sacrifice of all military veterans.
My grandfathers, father, uncles, cousins, and husband all served in the US armed forces. Some active duty, some reserve duty, some both. With service comes a great sacrifice to time with family, career interruptions, and some the ultimate sacrifice of loss life. You sacrifice your own ideals and beliefs for a greater cause - the mission. You take an oath to defend the US Constitution and our nation as it continues to strive toward becoming a more perfect union. For that, we #ThankYou
To all who have served and continue to serve, @vantagepointcoach @kittymetria salute you.
💜 Now is your time.
Rise above any negativity.
Rise above any self doubt.
Rise above your own expectations.
Rise above your comfort zone.
Rise from your couch.
Rise and SHINE.
Now is your time.
Allow yourself. 💜
The one thing that hangs me up and allows anxiety to sneak in is when I feel "busy" but not "productive."
The anxiety of "busy-ness" shows itself in a number of ways:
⇢The feeling of being frazzled
⇢The feeling of having so much to do you don't know where to start
⇢The feeling of your business being your boss
So how do we get out of "busy" and into "productive." Here are a few ideas that have worked for me:
1. Prioritize my to-do list by what's Most Important and Most Urgent (or time-sensitive) and do that first tasks first
2. Only work on tasks that align with my quarterly objectives and strategies.
3. Say "NO" more often

When you figure out how to get out of the "busy-ness" that on-edge, uncomfortable feeling of anxiety will diminish.
Happy Monday! 🐶
5 miles done at 8:50 pace and just dreaming of the day this little pup will be joining me on my runs 😍 who has a pup that runs with them?! I would love some tips on how you trained them for endurance! 👇🏻
And remember...don’t get manic on this Monday. We have all week to get ish done and no matter how your today goes it does not define your week. You got this 💪🏻
Me: I need to do a thing.
My body: you did a thing yesterday. That’s enough things.
🤷🏼♀️ Motivation Monday has just been revamped to Merlot Monday. 🍷 See ya on the flip side, all of you motivated psychos out there on this cold & rainy Monday. ✌🏻😁
This past year I had the amazing opportunity to be trained through the @christiancoachinstitute to become a professional life coach. The trainers were truly inspirational and the women I got to train with were just the same. Since then, my trainer was able to publish her book of the wonderful callings to become a coach from many of her coaches that went through the institute. I have been reading this and continuously feeling blessed for being able to follow Gods call for this in my own life. It’s so empowering and beautiful to read the stories that God has given other people in their journeys.💖
What have you been reading lately?!☺️
MONDAY MOTIVATION! 👊🏽
Sometimes you just don’t feel like it. Or you hit a wall and feel uninspired. Sometimes you are burnt out and have given all that you have left.
DON’T GIVE UP!
Remember that most success stories or “dream come true” opportunities didn’t come easily. It took a lot of time, effort, tears and frustration but in the end it’ll be worth it. 🙏🏼
I remember when we wanted to own our own Chick-fil-A- it took 4 years of us being told no over and over again before someone finally said yes. Rejection can be tough and make you want to give up- but make it fuel you to be even better! 💪🏽
Another way to get over the hump- ask for help! I have been reaching out to friends who are gifted in areas I’m not and they have been so kind to offer their time. Moms who are overwhelmed- ask for help. Wives who are drained- ask for help. Business owners who are afraid- ask for help. It’s in our weakness that others can come along side and build us up! ❤️
Do you have people in your life who can do this for you? If not- ask yourself why not? Because we need each other. And that’s why I’m so passionate about life coaching. I truly believe that partnership like coaching can help you truly become your best self- we all need a helping hand. 🤝
