So, apparently on my previous post many people are interested in Timang Beach and wonder about how 'dangerous' this place really is.
First of all how dangerous Timang Beach is depends on the weather on the day of your visit. I came on a day when the waves are huge. Me and my friend @ameliatriastuti actually got soaked wet because of the waves EVEN when we were standing far away from the cliffs. That's how huge the waves were.
There are two ways to get across to the small Lobster Island in the middle of the sea. The first and the most popular way is the Gondola. It is a quite expensive but the experience - for me - is definitely worth it. For those wondering, this is the same gondola used by the two members of Running Man reality show: Gwang-su and So-min for their 'punishment'. The second way is by going across the bridge: the experience is definitely less thrilling, but you do have more opportunity to take selfies and pictures since you can just stop in the middle of the bridge and take pictures.
Is it worth it? If you love adventures and you want to do some kind of high adrenaline activity, then yes. Go for it. In fact combine it with the Jomblang Cave adventure which is also another high adrenaline activity. For those easily scared though, I would suggest going to some other safe places. Borobudur and Prambanan Temple, perhaps.
