Sometimes when I'm on the road and time is broken and so i cant sleep and it's the middle of the night and I'm alone and wandering around a city where I don't really know anybody.... Well, I get lonely and wonder what I'm doing there.
I've been on the road long enough to know that nothing's really out there. There's nothing over the next ridge except another ridge. There's no finish line. No sage who's going to say, Oh! You finally made it! Here's the secret we've been keeping.
People are pretty much the same everywhere and they're motivated by the same modest matters. They're paying their bills and figuring out dinner. They're pissed off at somebody or falling in love. They're trying to get ahead or trying to catch a break.
In those moments, I'm like, what's the point? And I want to go home.
But then sometimes after I'm home for three weeks, I begin to seriously itch all over. I need to leave.... I really think i might be a cat.
I've booked flights to #Panama City and #Cartagena in November. I'll see what it's like traveling with a friend.
It's the #leakestreettunnel in #london again. #londonlife#londonist#londontown#londoncityphoto#london_city_photo#london_enthusiast#londongraffiti#londonphotography#londonblogger#london🇬🇧#latergram
At the request of @schbok , tonight’s post is brought to you by the colours #orange and #blue ... a significantly harder colour combination to find on the streets of London than I cockily anticipated 😂
🇬🇧 From yesterday’s walk from Kensington High Street ➡️ Portobello Market ➡️ Notting Hill then a double-decker bus ride ➡️ Piccadilly Circus. My iPhone says I walked some 20,000 steps but I also indulged on some good Indian food to end the night so idk ✊🏻
