@pastorhannah Thank you, Pastor Hannah for praying for me and my family. I loved your "Forrest Gump" sermon and will remember the lesson forever!
Last Sunday morning after walking for miles with my big backpack and taking the train from the suburbs into Chicago, my dear friend Bernice Dennis Mack picked me up at Union Station to take me to her church with her family for praise and worship and for special prayer intentions.
We went to the New Life Covenant-Southeast congregation pastored by John F. Hannah. Church services are currently being held at the UIC Forum while their new home church is being finished. I have only great words to speak of this experience. Not only is Pastor Hannah an amazing and thought provoking minister, the assembly takes praise and worship very seriously. For sure, they rock!
After a totally inspiring service, we approached Pastor Hannah with our special prayer intention never realizing that someone was behind us taking pictures!
Praise God! Many blessings to Pastor Hannah and New Life Covenant-Southeast. May all our prayers be answered!

The angel of the Lord @lovechicago247
Four days ago at the Chicago City Life Center, I received my official wristband for attending an orientation class for the LoveChicago247 campaign.
After two months of preparation and two thousand miles of travel, I felt as if I had accomplished a mighty task just by attending this class! Praise God!
I had arrived not knowing a single person nor having any idea of what really to expect. What I found was a band of pilgrims so full of passion and desire to spread the love of Jesus Christ that they have risked all to comfort those who are suffering within their city.
Without actually realizing the strength of their own convictions, the LoveChicago247 leaders challenged everyone to rise up and actively seek understanding and build bridges between all those we encounter.
Armed with books, bookmarks, Bible tracts, and wristbands, the outreach leaders gave excellent instruction on ways to easily talk to others about the Good News of Jesus Christ. With the Word in hand and the right attitude in our hearts, we became Soldiers of Christ and we were now ready for the battlefield.
How was I called to help this team of warriors for the Lord? Besides keeping them in my thoughts and prayers, I realized the best way for me to help was to get back to Phoenix safely and tell as many others as possible about this mighty movement of God.
Certainly, something is currently happening in the name of Jesus Christ within the city of Chicago. A flame of faith is now burning brightly. May the angel of the Lord encamp all around these pilgrims who have declared Chicago as Holy ground and may the fire of the Holy Spirit light up the city for all to see! All Praise and Glory to Jesus Christ!
