I see the shock. I see the sorrow. I see the guilt when someone wakes to the truth. When they see with their own eyes the pain & suffering these animals go through just to become a meal, an article of clothing. I do not judge for I was them. Instead I offer my understanding, my love and my support 💚🌿

Some of the things I knew I’d miss when I went vegan:
• Ice cream
• Full English breakfast
• Chicken burgers
Some of the thing I’ve been enjoying even more now I’m vegan, knowing I’ve made the better choice for the animals, myself and the planet:
• Ice cream
• Full English breakfast
• ‘Chicken’ burgers
Going vegan doesn’t mean munching on lettuce all day (thanks for the inspo for this post today @lornakells_ ) and it doesn’t mean giving up your favourite foods.
What it does mean is making changes to the basic ingredients, to make your favourite foods slightly different, but in return for such small changes, you’ll be saving hundreds, if not thousands of lives, doing the best thing you can for the planet, and improving your health.
That was a no brainer for me.
I hope everyone is enjoying an awesome little Sunday afternoon!!
So this is exactly 1 year apart to the day! .
When I saw this comparison I pretty much could have 👋 myself in the face for being so down on myself lately.
Sometimes WE are so hard on ourselves that we don’t see what’s right in front of us. .
1 year ago, I had NO confidence, I compared myself to others, hated, I mean hated my body to where it affected my everyday living and even though my husband always told then and still tells me how beautiful I am almost everyday, I didn’t want to be touched. Worst of all, I still had NO faith. I simply was not happy with myself at all. I wanted so much but yet was not doing anything to get what I wanted. .
We have ALL been here at some point or another. After gaining over 15 lbs last summer, I sat back and really listened to my feelings. I was DONE feeling like crap, I was done being miserable and living like it. I wanted to be 😃 I wanted to be able to walk around with confidence and stop comparing myself to those who looked healthier, those who seemed they had it all put together. I wanted to start my own journey where I can finally say with ALL the confidence, IM PROUD OF MYSELF!!! Yes, I will shout that out because I have never felt this way in my 35 years of life. .
As women we compare, compare and compare. That needs to ✋🏼 because we all need to accept who we are and ❤️ who we are. It would be so boring if we were all the same, wouldn’t it? We don’t know others paths nor what they went through to get where they are today. .
Those who seem they have it all put together probably have the most interesting story to how they got there but listen, they don’t have it all put together! They get up everyday and they work are creating their BEST life! They still lose their shit! That’s what this is all about. Life can really beat us down but we have to keep trying and never give into those weaknesses. .
Start uplifting each other instead of judging and putting down. We ALL have a story. Let’s respect that. So get out there and LIVE everyday to be the best you that you can be☺️ ❤️for ALL 😘
