🔍😲 Happy #trichometuesday!
💬 "Nothing was staged, this is their natural position. Green/left with big cloudy heads is actual nugmeat/pure flower. Purple/right with super amber heads is a sugar leaf sticking out."
Fun Fact: I almost died of a heart attack when editing this photo and the one after it because I hadn’t realized there was a big ol spider on the leaf 😂 didn’t even see it when I was snapping away! (Look on the left hand edge of the pic)
Since the response on the last one was pretty awesome I figured I’d quickly do another one. What better subject than a @mimzadellic wig wag to send you into a hypnotic state. Ohhhh boy Ima do lots of these now. #letsgettrippy
#macromonday 🌲🔬 "A 4 mm-wide SEM view of the female flower pistil. These are very difficult structures to prepare for viewing in the SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) vacuum, The sign of a well-prepared sample is that the majority of the glandular structures are full and not collapsed or deflated. Samples like this were prepared with a 2.5% solution of glutaraldehyde within minutes of being collected from a living plant."
