This weekend I went on a walk with Asher, and as we were getting close to home, we felt a few raindrops falling. I'm talking maaaaybe 5 or 6 drops, total. Definitely not a storm by any stretch of the imagination. But that was enough for Asher to declare that night a "cozy night" that required hot chocolate, blankets, and a movie! ☕️ Nothing is cozier than homemade hot chocolate, and right now, my favorite hot chocolate is this recipe for this to-die-for ORANGE HOT CHOCOLATE. 🍊🍊🍊 If you're a lover of the chocolate + orange flavor combination, this one's for you!

The temperature is in the 70s so all of Houston is joyous. Cue all things fall related being posted. (The high today is still predicted to be 90 though). But because I'm not above being "basic" I'm posting a picture of my brown butter snickerdoodles. Happy not really fall y'all! 😂
Hellooo fall! Celebrating the start of the season with my favorite @tillamook Premium Mudslide Ice Cream! I recently spent a week with @tillamook in Tillamook 😜 meeting cows (they were beautiful and charming), admiring the Oregon coastline (holy smokes is it gorgeous) and one of my favorite parts: hanging out in their new Tillamook Creamery where they let us order off the menu until our hearts were content and bellies full—it was cheese-pull paradise. We finished off the meal with bowl-after-sampling-bowl of ice cream, with flavors like the one above 👆🏼and also: White Chocolate Peppermint Bark, Oregon Hazelnut and Salted Caramel and Oregon Marionberry Cheesecake Frozen Custard!! wow this weekend came and went in the blink of an eye. 12 shoots done (still need to edit all the photos, though 😬) and I’m exhausted in the best way and damn proud of the work I did. Porcini mushrooms are growing like mad at the moment. As my bf's father is a keen mushroom forager (and I trust him to not poison us!) we decided to take advantage of that to make porcini mushroom ravioli. Yum!

Afternoon tea, home made date and honey scones with Chantilly cream, served with cherry jam, apricot jam and home made creamed honey.
