At Rachel House, we love seeing the babies who have been born as a result of the help we gave to their mom and dad. DM us your email address now so we can keep you informed about the many ways you can partner with us in making a difference across generations! #motivationalmonday
Mahalo to @fredmeyerstores and the @salvationarmynorthwest for inviting us to help support 100 youth in our #community with a #backtoschool shopping spree this morning! When I got there it was a nice surprise to see Shae and her brother Lucky. I’ve known them for more than 3 years and they are both growing up so fast! When she’s not busy studying for her long term goal of getting into med school and playing soccer Shae helps us serve dinner to our community at the Salvation Army 🤙🏽🚔⚫️🔵⚫️ #bellevue#police#outreach#aloha#makeadifference#sisepuede#oahugrown#aiea#protectbellevuedotcom
Tyler and his family have used our House extensively in the past, after he was born at 24 weeks nearly 11 years ago. They recently held a fabulous karaoke fundraiser night at Blanchetown Caravan Park to help support the families like theirs who rely on our services. A big thank you to the Tyler and his family, and their local community, for their kindness and generosity! 💕
As the water starts to recede it leaves behind all the junk we had thrown in!
Maybe this is also a time to reflect on what we are doing to our water bodies by polluting them with plastics!
The floods in Kerala have been devastating. We have already sent supplies and are working on collecting more. Check our story to find out what you can do!
Today the House was filled with the smell of baking thanks to our friends at @donsmallgoods who cooked not only these amazing maple bacon cupcakes, but cooked and packed meals to stock our freezers. Thanks to the team who came all the way from Castlemaine to support our families 🍰
The BTAC pantry needs your help!
We are currently in a shortage of items like soup, jelly and canned fruit. The BTAC would greatly appreciate any of these specific donation items during this time.
Donation hours at the aid center are 9am-12pm/1:30pm-5pm at the rear entrance of the building! 🥫🍇🍊 Happy Monday!

Another successful and FUN #bridgetothebeach outing! 🏖️🌊🏄🏽♂️🏄🏽♀️ Thank you @outoftheboatswim for continually partnering up with us and taking care of our students! Without you, they might not have another opportunity to learn how to swim or have a Summer beach day! They look forward to their swim lessons and this amazing day to test their swimming skills every year 🙏🏼💕

I remember when you were 3 yrs old and your back pack was a tiny little thing. When I cried because I was afraid of letting you go. With many challenges in front of you I didn’t know how all was going to work and/or look. But God, has always place people to take care of you and invest in you. Today you carry big binders and folders, crayons are no longer in you school supply list. Time has gone so fast, but God has been so good to you. So good to us. Here is to 5th grade in front of us. I’m praying for a year of great growth, of great insight and for Him to continue using you as my great evangelist. I pray you will continue to be unafraid of sharing the truth, to be bold and courageous. To stand up for was right and for you. To learn that your voice is strong because of who is in you. With all of our hearts, we are trusting God in your last year of a great season. ¡To God be all the glory!
