Another step completed on my journey to a new career, this gives me the full Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification. Still lots to learn to expand my knowledge on nutrition but heading in the right direction.
Looking forward to taking on some clients in the coming months to start building my business and helping to improve people’s lives.
isn’t it funny how we can become (more like convince ourselves we are) SO.overwhelming.BUSY 😬
freaking out in our heads saying “I just have zero time right now”😓
but then, sometimes, something serious happens or a loved one needs us,
so we drop everything and take care of it or be there to support as best we can
and somehow, in some crazy way, even though we had to put everything aside to deal with unexpected hardships,
totally throwing off our “oh so busy life”
we were still able to get it all done.🤭
AND (wait, it gets more mind-blowing 🤯)
even if we were never able to get it all done life still went on,
everything worked out...maybe because it wasn’t as important as we stressed ourselves about it to be? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don’t let anxiety win and take over your day fam, decide to make it a good day 💛 #CarolinelFranco

As many of you know the #ketogenicdiet was a vital component to my recovery from a partial spinal cord injury called #caudaequinasyndrome KETO was also an important bridge to cultivating the #carnivore lifestyle I live today. I am asked a lot about the ketogenic and carnivore diets, so when I was asked to collaborate on writing a book called #50KETORecipesforFoodies with several keto experts I was happy to do so. Many people struggle with where to start to improve health and lose weight. Quite frankly it can be overwhelming. Add in exercise and starting too fast the overwhelm often leads to people not believing they can do it. Well I am hear to tell you that you can do it! You just have to start and with that, I mean gradually start with the unprocessing of your diet and get moving in ways that feel good. Personally, I found being fat adapted made the transition to a carnivore diet easy minus a few small speed bumps. 50 KETO Recipes for Foodies is designed to help get you started if you are new to the ketogenic diet or for #ketofoodies who are looking for tasty recipes. Over this past year, one of my greatest accomplishments was helping family and friends lose 100's of pounds, reversing disease, getting off medication and watching them #thrive. The book will be available on November 23rd and I know it will help add value to you on your journey! #bookstagram
Day 366 of 1000 days of gratitude!
Lol okay guys guilty confession: I can’t give this up!
As painful as it can sometimes be to try and find an image to represent my reflections for the day, the benefits and perspectives I gain from practicing daily gratitude are just too great for me to give up.
And seeing as I probably wouldn’t do it without you all to keep me accountable, you’re stuck with me 🤷🏻♀️ So here’s to another 635 days of gratitude!!!😜
So to kick off this new year of gratitude, today I accidentally left my phone at home 😳
As soon as I realised (on the way to work), I instantly got anxious. But I am actually quite grateful for the experience that I had.
My morning anxiousness continued, mainly on account of the fact that I didn’t 100% know where it was, and was worried that I may have somehow lost it (in between my home and my car 🤔)
During the day at work, I had mixed feelings too. I enjoyed not having the “distraction” of my phone and also felt kind of liberated and “off the grid” knowing that I was my own person and no one could reach me unless I chose to reach out to them. But it did also occur to me, that should something adverse happen, I wouldn’t get to know until the evening...
Lunch was strange. But I was able to focus more fully on my food, and appreciate every morsel, smell, taste and texture.
I also got slightly bored on the walk between my desk and the water filter, something I found interesting to note about myself.
But the journey home was the worst. Never has a half hour bus ride gone so slow.
So whilst I am grateful to have had this experience, to notice more what my usage habits are, and what I actually do with my day, I’m also very, very grateful to have so many options granted to me at the touch of a screen. It really is, quite incredible.
Peace out folks!
