When the fairy folk wanted a daughter they didn’t do what us humans do. They got a pale of moonlight and handfuls of nightingale songs. They thought his daughter should be different from the one they made of sunshine and who frolicked all day and slept all night. So they added some nightshade and wolfsbane so the darkness would be in her bones just enough. They wrapped all of that in their blessings and a butterfly wing then planted it in a Pumpkin Patch. When the girl hopped out of the ground they loved her immediately. They named her Pumpkin the Dark Fairy.
Dance 💃🏽 of the Feather Fae: It was on the other side of the looking glass, I fell through one morning by accident. The wee folk there were everywhere. They didn’t hide like in World they laughed and danced. A strange dance that sped and slowed time capriciously. I was especially enthralled by one that wore a thick mass of feathers that flew to and fro, as she twisted and darted.
