The issue I’m starting to see throughout baseball is now everyone is data driven. Everyone says they use technology (HitTrax, Rapsodo..etc) just because you have those doesn’t mean anything...it means you have them. If you can’t understand how to use technology to help develop your players then what’s the point of having them?
BREAKING: Baltimore Orioles prospect Ryan Mountcastle was named “Orioles 2019 Top Prospect” via MLB.com and their writers. Mountcastle, a 21 year old INF prospect, has looked very promising for the O’s minor league teams and during this year’s AFL season. He slugged his way to a 13 homerun season with over 40 doubles in 2018 for AA Bowie Baysox. This also led Mountcastle to an AFL “Fall-Stars” Selection as well as a spot in the MiLB All-Star team this season. Congrats and good luck to Ryan! Comment your thoughts on Ryan Mountcastle below!
Awesome view of @austinhedges18 chuckin a baseball. Borrowed from @the_catching_guy who is a great follow if you’re not. Throwing is throwing. You see the same athletic patterns in all good throwers. Each position has its own challenges. Conquer them and throw lasers 👊🏻🔥
