I went to a pet store today. I saw 2 mini schnauzers (brother/sister they said)... the brothers nose was yellow and crusted because of an infection. I took the girl into a room to see her temperament. She was so afraid of me she pooped when I picked her up. She paced and coward in the room and finally let me pet her after about a half hour of just being calm. She’s a tiny puppy (13 weeks) and so afraid. This experience broke my heart and just made me feel so sad. Zack and Zoe came to us with similar temperament and it has taken 3 years to bring them around, (although they still have moments). But Neron and Madelynn came from wonderful loving homes and have been trusting and loving from the beginning. I am so grateful that my dogs are safe and loved. If I could save every animal I would. Trauma is real and it is hard to fix. Please love the animals you have, and adopt an animal if you have the room in your life. We all need saving and we we save one another❤️ (ps. ❤️❤️to @chica_and_west_moscowschnauzer and @the_schnauzer_house for being amazing breeders and loving their animals)#minischnauzer#minischnauzerpuppy#minitureschnauzer#miniatureschnauzer#schnauzers#schnauzer#adoptdontshop#petshop
Do you give back to your community?? @whyld_river & @milotheshepski are hosting a give away and asked people to show how you give back to enter. #whyldxmilogiveaway2018 This was a fun excuse to look back at all the volunteering I’ve done with Camilla & Jasper.
For the last 3 years, Camilla & Jasper have performed at the @bcspca fundraiser Paws for a Cause. We’ve also collected donations for the pets affected by the BC Wildfires. Although, my favorite way to volunteer with the dogs is beach clean ups! We organized our own dog friendly beach clean up last fall and have another one planned for the spring! 🌊
