Food, food, food. 2nd #brekki of the day but having it on the beach makes it #taste soo much better! Today we’re Evil Knievals riding around on our moped, exploring surrounding places on a magical mystery tour. We’re on the search for a certain pub, owned by an English guy we met in our yoga class yesterday. A chilled out arvo, watching the world go by. #moped#explore#discoverbali#food
Disagreements are natural. We all have different beliefs - different ways of going about life. So disagreements are bound to happen.
Disagreements handled properly lead to respect for one another, potentially learning something from one another, and improving your beliefs because you either confirm yours are the right ones for you, or learn something new and alter your beliefs to better serve your life. This is only accomplished through having an open-mind.
Disagreements not handled properly escalate into arguments, which are impossible to win because no one EVER walked away from an argument being "convinced" - only resentful.
This is the result of having a closed-mind.
So don't be so attached to your beliefs. Be flexible with your approach to life but firm on your destination. Choose the high road and respect other people's perspectives, even if they are the opposite of yours. This clearly leads to peace, while arguing clearly leads to fighting and stress.
