First time growing outdoor from seed in 6 years. The most exciting part is that 1/2 of this patch are skunk crosses. When I was younger I could always find a bag of outdoor skunk and I miss it so I decided to find some skunk seed and see what happens🤞 #viennaskunk & #mrclean#backwoods#greenbud
Who has their broom propped up in the corner 🙋 or thrown in a closet 🙋? I know I do! Here's a great space saver! This mop and broom holder easily mounts onto your wall to create a quick and convienent way to store your mops, brooms, dustpan, and cleaning cloths. Everyone should have one of these in thier home. As you can see in the photos it has hooks on the front to make it easy to hang things on! You've got to check this out!
The only pets my kids have are 2 sweet chickens that lay eggs for them each day🤣🙊🙉🙈🐔🥚
Bree loves them so much! Always talking to them, kissing them 🙊🙊 stroking their feathers, showing them flowers and airplanes, telling them stories...😍😍😁 So.....anyone who knows me from a few years back, knows I carried hand sanitizer around with me everywhere.
In the car, diaper bag, bathroom, purse....
Always wanting to kill the germs.
I gave my kids huge bubble baths daily and made sure they didn't ever touch animals or play in dirt.
I was so clean, I made #MrClean look dirty😂😂😂🤷 But, my kids were always sick!! Always sniffling. Always fighting something...
And then I learned..... Children need microbes — not antibiotics — to develop immunity!!!
This means getting dirty, playing outside and letting go of the sanitizer!!
Studies show that our bodies are 90% microbial and 10% human!! Gasp!!! Being that my little chicken farmer has asthma, I know how important it is to have her on a good probiotic and help her gut health even more so.
There’s been some fascinating research recently. One study shows that the composition of a toddler’s gut flora may impact their behavior and personality traits! I believe it!!! Gut health is linked to everything! I’ve noticed my kids’ behavior changing depending on what they eat or whether or not they take #probiotics they sleep better too! 🙌🏻 #holla
There are definitely things you can do to improve your children’s gut flora.
Believe it or not, I was reading how our children’s playing habits can affect their gut flora! Playing outside on a farm and being exposed to farm animals and dirt has been associated with lower levels of things like asthma and eczema.
This helps improve the gut flora because of the diverse microbiome found on the animals and in the soil. But what if we could prevent early-onset health issues simply by making our kids roll around in the dirt? In her new book Healthy Food, Healthy Gut, Happy Child, Dr Maya Shetreat-Klein advocates a lifestyle centred around contact with the microbes present in soil!📖📖 And feeding that microbiome from the inside is a win win for healthy kids!!
