I'm feeling nostalgic about the past and feeling hopeful for the future
I'm keeping my feet on the ground and staying focused.
Not everyone knows your journey, for those that do show them what's possible
For those that dont show them your passion❤
A simple message this morning.
If you don't give enough of a shit about your goal, it won't ever become a reality. "I want to lose weight/put on muscle to feel better" isn't really enough.
So what? What's the real point?
Whether it's so you can be strong/fit enough to not get bullied off the ball playing 6 a side or to give you enough confidence to speak to a girl on a night out - doesn't really matter what it is, as long as it's powerful enough for you to give a shit about seeing it through.
You don't need to talk to anyone about your motivations, in fact it's probably better if you don't. But it's normally a good idea to be really clear why it matters to you from the outset, so that when it gets tough you won't sack it off at the first opportunity.
Have a great day 👊🏻
The long weekend is around the corner, and you are probably already using that as an excuse to slack off on your nutrition a little bit! Here are some quick and easy ways to enjoy some extra leeway on your nutrition plan, by getting some basics right!
If you know you have a heavy day of eating later in the day, skip breakfast. If you didn’t already know, this is a real thing called Intermittent Fasting. Other than the various metabolic and hormonal benefits of fasting, this is a great way of limiting overall calories. Sip on black coffee/ green tea (without any sweetening agent) or just plain water until lunch.
Even if you are eating out, look for these words on the menu and pick dishes based around them as much as you can - “Grilled, braised, fresh, broiled, poached, roasted, steamed, marinated, seasoned”. If you know you’re not going to get access to protein at a meal, pre-game with a protein shake. This will also keep you satiated and ensure you don’t go overboard at your meal.
Alcohol is going to be there, we know. Have your drinks on the rocks, neat or with water. Stay away from cocktails and mixers like fruit juice or soda/ cola. As a rule, fill your stomach with protein and veggies before you step out to drink, so those bar snack calories don’t add up.
Share those desserts! Don’t go overboard with dessert, but don’t also deprive yourself. Order one portion, but find someone to share it with. You’ll end up with the satisfaction of having eaten dessert, but you’ve also effectively consumed half the portion of what you might have eaten.
Cut yourself some slack and enjoy these next few days, but there’s also no need to completely derail from your plan!
Did you know...... Each body type is different, and what works for one will not work for another! You could spend forever training hard and eating well, but if you're not doing what's right for your body, you may never get results!
It's important to know your body type, and adapt your training and nutrition to get the best results for YOU!

🥑 How to make guacamole 🥑
The dip is not unlike the squat in that the shoulder joint is equivalent to the hip joint. The same is true for the elbow joint being equal to the knee. If you wanna dip better you better have some ripe 🥑 and by that I mean : use the same points of performance for the squat as you would the dip. The first two videos are the correct demonstrations on how to effectively perform and equally measure a dip. The last set of videos are piss poor dips causing synergistic dominance of the upper trap, excessive torque on the elbow and wrist, leaving no room for tasty guacamole. Correct points of performance 👇
1️⃣ The shoulder joint goes below or parallel to the elbow.
2️⃣ Elbows track inline with the wrist.
