Happy Sunday! ✨
Hope you’ve had a nice weekend! Thoroughly enjoyed my little break to enjoy time with family and friends, and of course indulge in plenty of cheesecake! 😅
After a long and impatient wait for everyone to arrive, finally time for the big reveal! 😃 This is what we’ve affectionately come to call the mother of all basket walls! Started out as a little 13th anniversary project, in lieu of gifts. Then I got a “little” carried away. 😬 Let’s put it this way, I may have taken a cash advance on anniversaries 14, and 15 too! Oops! 🙊🤷🏽♀️ Well it’s nearly two months after our anniversary but we’ve finally got it finished, for now. 😉 Intellectually I know we really don’t need, or have room for anymore, but that hasn’t stopped me from continuing to browse. These baskets are at full on addiction mode, I may need a program for this! I’ll be sharing roundups of more gorgeous finds of the woven basket kind. Please help me and save me from myself, by buying them out first ok? I’ll even admit that I got to a point where it was difficult to figure out, just how to fit them all on the wall. A teeny tiny voice that said, Faith you’ve gone waaayyy overboard, but I squashed that sucker like a bug! 🤣
These handmade fair trade beauties were sourced from some amazing sources. 😍 I’ll be highlighting them in my stories so look out, and do have a peek if they suit your fancy! Amongst my sources are Aline of @theafricanhomegoods Laura of @amshastudio Marie @agahozoetsy @beyonduganda that you may have caught my story about, if not check them out in my highlights. Also a few from @macys , @bamboulaltd and @fairwindstradingcompany via @amazon, for the grand finale I ordered a couple French chic paniers from the Etsy shop of Thomas @tomvgn .
The wall wouldn’t be what it is without any of them! Wanted it to be big, and bold, and colourful. 🌈 ❤️ Think I’ve managed to tick all the boxes. What do you think?
