One of the best things about having a party last weekend with a house full of people for two days is that the house is now exceptionally tidy with jobs finished and free from clutter... #justdontlookinthegarage
Do your kids know what to do if there is a fire? #ad We’ve talked to our kids about our emergency plan for years, but now that they are old enough to read, I decided to put it in writing and tape it to the back of their bedroom door. I created a cute printable template that you can download to use with your kids (swipe left to see it and download it on the blog at blueistyle.com/fire-plan-printable). .
October is Fire Prevention Month and I’ve teamed up with @firstalert to share lots of fire prevention and safety tips on the blog. We are now a #SuperPreparedFamily and I want to help your family be prepared, too!
This beautiful felt garland, made by @strangerlondon, will be going into the nursery shortly. With its snow-capped mountains and clouds-with-a-chance-of-rain, I thought it would be a wonderful addition to the room we're trying to get our little one to adjust to (which was going relatively well until this cold hit!). As part of my committment to #shoppingsmall this year, I wanted to highlight some of my favorite independent children's brands and the talented makers/creatives I purchase from ... @strangerlondon's work is so thoughtful, so detail-oriented, and so very delightful. Have a look at her feed for more of her lovely work. These garlands would make a terrific gift for any expecting or new parent. (p.s. photographed on our @totterandtumble playmat which I'm still loving!)
