On our recent trip to Iceland to host a workshop, I (of course) had to find the best possible locations for northern lights. And throughout our 9 days there, we kept checking the Northern lights forecasting tools by the hour. WHEN IS IT GOING TO COME OUT?? Every single day, the forecast was calling for a 2 out of 10. Low at best. But on the first clear night, we just drove out and crossed our fingers. And low and behold, it was one of the most spectacular displays I've ever seen. My wife @haleygoldie and I were so excited. If you haven't been to Iceland yet, do yourself a favor and go. It's incredible.
Still reminiscing about that super beautiful styled shoot in the black sands & rocks of South Iceland 🇮🇸
Fun fact, that no one knows - the wind blowing from the ocean on the day of the shoot was so dang freezing, that we had to stop every 5-10 minutes to get warm 💨❄️🖤
However! It was totally worth of it 🔥🖤🤟
Happy Friday 🙌
I don’t always find a new aspect of photography I love, but when I do, I do it in excess... 😂 (There’s a pattern of this in my life). Right now I’m on a star trail kick, since Milky Way seasons over here and I’m nowhere I can currently see the aurora 🌀 @earthpix #startrails
These past few days have proved extremely difficult for Aurora hunting. Both for our customers and our guides. So we celebrate dearly whatever sightings we manage to squeeze out of Mother Nature 😊💛👏🇮🇸 #professionalnorthernlightshuntersoficeland
