=Josefina Fierro De Bright=
Early Mexican American leader who helped organize resistance against discrimination in the American Southwest during the Great Depression of the late 1920s and 30s.Josefina was the daughter of migrant parents who had fled Mexico to settle in California when the Mexican Revolution erupted.Josefina grew up in Los Angeles and the San Juaquin Valley. In 1938,she enrolled into UCLA,where she had planned to study medicine, but activism on behalf of the Mexican American community took up most of her time and effort. She gave up her studies and became an organizer, her style was described as gutsy, flamboyant, and tough by Chicano labor and civil rights leader Bert Corona. Josefina began to lead boycotts against companies that did business in Mexican American communities but did not hire Mexican American workers. Her work brought her the attention of a Mexican American group called El Congreso de Habla Española(Spanish Speaking Congress).El Congreso was organizing Mexican migrants to stand up for thier rights. The Congress leaders asked Josefina to help them establish a branch in Los Angeles which represented a major effort by the Mexican American generation of that time. This effort was aimed at securing basic rights for Mexican American and Mexican workers.

Caught a little buddy tonight. Also teaching Silas that you shouldn't always disturb critters. But, if you do that it's important to put critters back where you found them if they aren't gonna be food, and if they aren't harming anything or anyone. #respectlife#gecko#fatherswisdom#nativewisdom
🌟Intuitive Message for those WHO 🌟
- Currently face a *big* block and feel challenged.
- The challenge involves or revolves around relationships.
- Feel like retreating.
You're hugging your knees and feeling so lonely. But the danger of believing that you are alone can lead you to self-centeredness, the shutting off of other perspectives aside from your own. Like a tree, it's time to expand and stretch out like branches. In this case, it is represented by a curious mermaid who is driven by something beyond her 'self'. There is a higher calling from what is portrayed as a dove - which is actually representing LOVE. That love, which is curiosity and compassion, helps you shift from "woe is me me me" to OPENNESS. Just look at that contrasting! The lonely girl (<- change this term to your gender) looking at her feet to the LOVE-led woman guided by a deep CURIOUSITY to see beyond what she knows to be true. To be truly humble. To SEE what lays BEYOND. And to come to understanding. To come to discovery and learning.
🔮 Your challenge is not what seems to be happening. Your challenge is to LEARN from it.
What can you learn from others? What can you learn from this situation? What is it revealing about you? What is it revealing about the deeper machinations at work in this situation?
How can you BE and RESPOND truly healthily in this situation?
Let me know your thoughts and confusions so I can help you through them.
