Okay I cropped this and it’s HELLA CLOSE bahaha, whatever.
Physique update 7️⃣ weeks post show, around 123.5!
Heading into my deload week ... much needed, despite my lack of passion for them 😂 *patience is a virtue, kind soul*
Ever since stepping off stage, my lifts have shot up. In order for my body to keep at it, we need some time to catch up!
Feeling really great where I am currently😊 At times I’m actually more confident than in prep. Say wha?! ...
I’ve never really heard an athlete complain about having insecurities IN prep, probably because shreds are dope, look cool and take WORK. However, I’m totally not going to lie. There were times that I felt like a flat pancake🥞 ... like, the kind you make with protein and an egg white, then remember you forgot to add the baking powder.
So it’s nice to look and feel healthy, and train to a fuller potential.
My first real “offseason” knowing truly what I’m doing. What my intentions are ... how to execute them to the best of my abilities. Equally important, knowing what I need to NOT care about, in order to optimize my offseason ... gets me really excited, for both now and the future.💪🏼💗
The judges were very clear with me, -"you have the shape, your presentation and pose are very good and good attitude, you are small and short legs, you must work on tightening your quads (that is not secret) and conditioning”- From every competition you learn, and this one ☝️ more than ever. At first I thought of doing my own preparation, putting into practice what I had learned with Papa KIm. But as a coach and competitor, I know the importance of a coach's eyes (your own eyes can lie to you) so I found the support and guidance I needed in coach @camile_periat and @team_pulse I can’t be more happy! I still have to keep working but I can feel and see that several things have improved. My proportions improving, my imbalance between right and left gluteus also, my abdominal hernis is less visible and the waist outline 1.5 cm less. The safety of work done with love and controlling my nerves, keeps my cortisol stable and away from the bloating. Seeing Pro competitors and their poses, fills me with motivation and strength to continue studying and improving.
Yes! I keep my final dance!!! 💪🏼😂😉💃🏽 My bikini And Glam! @bikinisbyfreydis 💙💙💙

Intimidation in the gym— I get quite a few messages from people asking me how to beat their fear of being in the gym and starting a lifting routine. I just want to say its ok and normal to feel anxious your first time starting something new. But, you should never be intimidated or scared. Remember we all start somewhere. People who have been lifting for years were once in your shoes too. No one should ever make you feel intimidated of going to the gym. My biggest tip is creating a playlist that motivates you and keeps you focused on you. Don’t look around you constantly thinking of what someone may think of you because that doesn’t matter, what MATTERS is that you are going in there and taking a step to bettering your health and your life. Be proud, be strong, and grind it out because YOU can and YOU will.
👎Did not feel 100% today however I managed to get a P.R. on squats, 315lbs. For 11 reps👍 you're not always going to feel like training hard, it's on those days where you have to just dig deep and think about the big picture, it all adds up over time, you gotta put in work day in and day out. So besides almost puking on multiple occasions during today's workout I can say today was a good day.
