Which Customer Support Channel is the Most Effective?
According to the @GrooveHQ blog, “by considering the available channels and then taking steps to determine exactly where your customers are…you can understand where you should focus your limited support resources.” 7 Customer Support Channels, that every business should consider:
3. #Forums / Message Boards
5. Live #Chat
6. Self-Serve #KnowledgeBase
7. On-Page Support #Widget
TIP: There is a reason why we call them ‘channels’ - think of each, like a CableTV package. Specific channels cater to different needs, ie: Adult, Drama, Kids, News, Sci-Fi, etc... There should be new, original, rerun or live content 24/7/365. Each, should never stray from their purpose. Imagine finding Adult content on a Children’s Channel? Ironically, viewing the News today, seems like Twilight Zone, but that’s another story... Do you follow my analogy, if we view #OmniChannel like the above, we can better set our #CX strategy.

It’s cybersecurity awareness month. Are you AWARE?
Most desktop OS’s are Windows (globally at 82.45%). If using an OS like Microsoft Windows 10 (which is currently 50% of all Windows users), you have some pretty “solid” security features; but, by default, Microsoft is tracking almost everything you do. Messages, email, voice, photos. Your pal Cortana is a spy. You’d have to add a few configuration changes, tools, and perhaps some firewall rules to your gateway to block Microsoft’s phone homes
But, MacOS users (at 12.64%) aren’t off the hook either. Apple collects a lot of information on you too. And although MacOS has some good security features, it’s not impervious to malware like your friends tell you. I’ve seen and removed spyware off infected Macs. The real reason MacOS suffers from less malware infections is because of its statistically low usage share as a Desktop OS. Hackers are simply targeting Windows more because it’s the most popular operating system
60.63% of Internet users are using Google Chrome as their web browser. You could definitely argue that Chrome has some great safe browsing features and frequent security updates. But, is it a good idea to use a browser that was developed by a company whose business model surrounds tracking everything you do? Google owns YouTube, Google+, Gmail, Googlemaps, Google docs, GooglePlay, Chrome, etc. They have their claws dug in deep. Likewise, 47M websites have Google analytics code, which allows Google to monitor what you’re doing online. Google collects your device info, location, searches, and if you’ve provided any information such as your name when you login to anything “Googleish,” they’re developing a profile on you. They can sell it to “third parties” for targeted advertisements
So on top of privacy and anonymity concerns, you also have to worry about security as well. Think Web-based attacks. There’s XSS, malware, session hijacking, DBDs, MitM, wireless network attacks, browser and plugin exploits, credential stealing, etc. Bots, programs, and hackers target users like you every day
Don’t even get me started on government and nation-state surveillance
So, are you AWARE yet?
Optimize your Fan Page to sell on Facebook
The first thing you must do to increase your sales on Facebook is to confirm that you are favoring the process of attracting potential buyers. For this I advise you to optimize your profiles on Facebook and other Social Networks.
When users want to find out for you or your products, the first thing they will do is enter the name of your brand on Google. And when the results appear, the most feasible is that they want to explore your social profiles to know more about your business and ensure its reliability. That's why it's important that you find the right information there!
The profiles of Social Networks always appear among the first search results, which is why you must ensure that your brand has accounts at least on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+. This will favor your SEO positioning and help you convince your potential buyers that your brand is reliable and accessible (just because they can explore your profiles and interact with you on Social Networks!).
. 💼 Create a group related to your product or service
Social Networks are based on the interaction between people, and your brand can and should take advantage of this circumstance to increase sales on Facebook. So, I advise you to create a group related to your product or service and invite your prospects and current customers to join him. What are the advantages of creating a Facebook group linked to your products or services?
They allow you to generate a database of people openly interested in your brand, which you can then use to create personalized ads on Facebook and email marketing campaigns.
