It's been a while since I last provided an update on this journey and the fundraiser. Two days ago I crossed the 1500 mile mark on the Appalachian Trail and crossed into Massachusetts in the same day. Hitting these milestones are always a great morale boost on trail, but the biggest motivator I've received recently is being contacted by a former schoolmate and writer for my hometown newspaper, Jordan Ferguson. I'm extremely grateful for the article he wrote about my personal journey and the fundraiser, and hope it will generate some interest in the fundraiser from an audience I have not yet been able to reach. At this time we have raised approximately $5,300 out of the $8,800 goal.
I've said it before and I'll continue saying it; I am blown away by the support of the trail community and the community in my hometown.
Once again I am asking for any support you can afford to provide. Whether it be a monetary donation or a donation of the time it takes to share the fundraising link in my bio.

I never did back in the day.
Ohhh no way. I just built relationships on what I knew, how I felt and the examples around me (not good) 🤷♀️🙅🏻♀️🤦♀️ The thought of taking some kind of council or course on marriage did not even occur to me. That just sounds stupid 😠
Stupid, until I had so many broken relationships & FAILED marriages. 🧐
Truth is when this happens often enough it cuts deeper and deeper.
We walk wounded, helpless and angered. That was my repeated past. 😩
But the good news is ITS NEVER TOO LATE to get Smart ! ! !
