CONSERVATION WEEK THURSDAY⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When we think of conservation it's easy to just think of the incredible wildlife and forget the habitats that are so important to their survival.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
New Zealand has an incredible, insane and varied coastline - home to many different species and a number of different habitat types. Each of these as important as the last and a stark reminder that everything is interconnected! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We need better habits as humans to protect our oceans, our land, our rivers and the coastlines that connect all! Whether it's reducing horrible pollutants like plastics or being responsible pet-owners, or picking up some rubbish on our next visit to the beach. Every little bit helps! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Random Conservation Fact of the Day: The Marlborough Sounds (where Paper Rain hails from!) contains 1500kms of coastline! That's 1/5th or 20% of the entire country's coastline all packed in to this tiny corner of the country - come visit some time! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A sense of 100% pure scale! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At 155m high, Stirling Falls thunders into Milford Sound yet looks like a mere trickle when seen against the backdrop of Mt Pembroke at 2014m high! Magnificent shot! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
