We had a fantastic trip to Uluru this year, and our last night gave us opportunity to take in Bruce Munro's Field of Light with sunset canapes overlooking the huge installation of 50,000 spheres of light as darkness fell and the lights came on, and it just so happened, a rising Milky Way was in clear view through the desert oaks in crisp clear red centre skies. What a fantastic way to conclude the trip.

This is a story about my good friend Jay (@gerryantics).
Who just before Thanksgiving said he wanted to play.
Thanksgiving week we shall adventure I said,
Without pause, he gave his van new capable tread,
“Meet me in Bozeman” were the words from my lips,
From Boston in his van, Jay would make the trip.
Upon meeting in Montana on a Saturday morning,
Our drive to Jackson was anything, but boring.
Snow covered trees looked like powdered sugar,
Each mile Jay drove, he’d pick another booger. “We’re in a gold rush state!” he assured me with great glee,
“That’s great”, I told him, acknowledging his booger covered knee.
As the sun was setting, we reached Teton Pass,
Pink colored mountains - the view kicked ass,
I flew my my drone and snapped some pics,
Fingers nearing frostbite, it was cold as dick.
We continued to Jackson while we warmed our bones,
All while the sky’s color changed different tones.
Beers we crushed and pizza we ate,
We probably did that until around eight,
Then we left in our van so we could go play,
In a snow covered field with a starry display.
