So yesterday morning my 2yr old started crying for his ear and kept putting his finger in his ear so I figured it has to be an ear infection so I decided to take him to the emergency @hrhospital @hrh_foundation because it was obvious he was in pain. They registered him and at 8am we were seated to be seen by a doctor. At 10am no doctor and my son was crying 12pm no doctor and noone came to ask if he was ok and on top of that I had an exam to do at 12:30pm at sch so you started crying cause I didn't know what to do. I decided to leave and take him to a walking clinic but I turned back to get some info as to where I could complain and I saw my cousin car so I called her Thank God she was at the hospital so I asked her to stay with the baby to see the doctor because I needed to take that exam. My son didn't see the doctor until 1pm. Healthcare might be free but it's not the best. They had the nerve to tell me I was in fast track emergency, nothing fast track about that they need to change it to slow track. The admins at the desk were just chit chatting so I said If I had gone to the walk in clinic I would have got through already she says to me well you might want to think about going there next time hun. No one to say I'm sorry the baby had to wait so long even though he is in pain you know why because they don't care. This is what the government need to address and fix it. Emergency room ain't no damn emergency if you have to wait 5hrs to be seen.
Is it just me or has everyone (including me) been feeling a little more overwhelmed this week than usual? 🙋🏼♀️ I finally got my ass to yoga this week which was long over due and thought this reminder was super relevant right now. Remember to breathe and be present wherever you are in whatever you’re doing. 🧘🏼♀️#mynursinglifestyle
