The movie follows a group of New Yorkers, who are enjoying a going-away party - little do they know that they will soon face the most terrifying night of their lives. A creature the size of a skyscraper descends upon the city, leaving death and destruction in it's wake. Using a handhold video camera, the friends record their struggle to survive as New York crumbles around them.
I was in two minds about the fact that this film was shot through a handheld camera because I felt that some scenes weren't fully seen and some were unclear; however at the same time viewers realluy did get a personal realistic view of what's happening, and at times it felt like, I as a viewer was experiencing what was happening as well. I also really enjoyed the plotline. I was thoroughly gripped and interested throughout the movie.
With the exception of a few actors, most of the acting in this movie was terrible. Luckily Lizzy Caplan, Odette Annable, T.J Miller made this movie great by their incredible acting.
Definitely worth a watch.
Supergirl is doing something new!!! Huh!
Well there's two people in comics who's last name is "nal" and they both are legionnaire "dream girl and "white witch" but they're not transgender so 🤷 idk
