As an unexpected reaction to the epic hoarding commission. I made these three mini network paintings (40x30cm) from the safety of my studio. Now on show in the @jbryant36 curated ‘perfectly small’ exhibition @the_foundrygallery. www.joannabryantprojects.com. #oldchurchstreet#perfecltysmall#networks#smallworldnetwork
Standing on the site of Epstein’s studio 1909-14, with his unfinished stone relief, Woman Walking against the Wind. This little walled and sunken garden on Chelsea Embankment at the bottom of Old Church Street was also an orchard that was gifted by Thomas More to his daughter Margaret on her marriage to William Roper (hence called Roper’s Garden). Also a great little relief for Chelsea pooches on their walkies!
