I get many DMs on how to become a better rider and how I’ve attained my level of riding. To be honest I‘ve never considered myself skilled for as much seat time as I’ve had. I’d been riding street for a year before I did my first trackday and then it took me all season to finally touch down with my knee (not important while riding but a goal many new riders want to achieve). I was lacking speed and comfort with my machine for so long. Even still today I’m a very slow learner and pushing to a new level of speed and skill takes incredible effort and time for me. Can you believe that I actually didn’t “feel” the machine till about 2.5 years into riding it! It all felt so deft to me and I never knew what the bike was doing under me. I couldn’t feel anything. It was awful. I possess zero natural talent when it comes to riding. What I achieved so far was through lots of sweat, many many tears, a shitton of training with pros and hours of seat time.
So I tell you this: ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE, you just have to be willing to put your mind, resources and time into it. I know everyone has a slightly different goal when it comes to riding but I think we all want to become better and safer and that is very attainable if you so desire it. So keep at it my friends!✌🏻❤️
