Post show going great, sitting at about 212, that’s the heavier I have been in my life and with not too much BF I have to get back on the grimd the past 3 weeks I’ve let myself go a bit, let the improvement season begin. The goal is to be around 225 pounds or more with the same body fat that I have now.
*FAVORITE PRODUCT FRIDAY*
Happy Friday, y’all! 💫 This week, I’m sharing my love of avocado oil! My go-to avocado oil is from @chosenfoods. 🥑 A huge bonus is that they sell this brand at Costco in a big bottle for an awesome price. I love using avocado oil when I’m sautéing, searing, or roasting anything because it has a high smoke point and won’t burn quickly. Cooking with oils that have a low smoke point may cause the food to burn quicker and may produce carcinogenic toxins. 😬 This is why I basically always cook with oils that have a high smoke point, including avocado oil and ghee. I honestly just don’t want to risk it! I also like it because it has a very neutral flavor. You really can’t taste it when you’re cooking with it. It’s the best! 🙌🏽 I hope you guys have an amazing weekend! 💕

Can it really be as simple as ‘eat real food’? Folks, I think it can. You see, here’s the thing. For millions of years, real food is all there was. There was minimal processing of foods and the processing that eventually did happen was all manual. Not hyper-processed, but rather, hand or stone ground. Today, un-processed food is a luxury in the US. We don’t tend to think of it that way, but processed food is available in an over-abundance. And over-abundance ↪️ over-consumption. You see, that is the current goal of America’s food system. To get us to eat as much as possible. But, when you eat real food, you don’t have a choice. You don’t get hooked in so easily because the body can only eat so much meat and fruit and vegetables before it will tell you it’s time to stop eating. #realfoodRD
