This shot was taken a year ago today in New Orleans. I never posted it because it was out of focus, but we’d just finished our 4 year tour of #cryyouone, a show that essentially changed my life and my career. I remember being so filled with joy, community, art, family, #palomathadog and the most jaw dropping sunset I’d ever witnessed. Looking back 12 months later, had I known then what the next 12 months would be like, I probably wouldn’t have been grinning so hard lol. But perhaps that’s where the lesson lies, to live each moment in the present and in the now.
If you’re having a hard time, a hard week or a shitty year, you just never know what’s around the corner, it may just be the biggest and best year of your life.
"Maa stop playing with me, did you say were going on a...........W A L K ?!!!!"

Heading to the vet for shot #2 with my ride r die lady...she's staying over night at the hospital.
Shot 2 is supposed to be the hardest, then 30 more days of no play time but, she's strong.
Wish us luck y'all!
I'll keep you guys in the loop of how she progresses, and if all goes well ...#aboutthatcampingtrip
Thanks for all your support, and for asking about updates on the lady.
Hey everyone, for those asking about Paloma updates...
She's good. Loves her Martha Stuart doggy bed and pillow (lol)- had a rough first two days but managed with pain meds.
She's certainly showing signs of depression with no walks or play time, but I'm balancing it with extra treats and cuddles.
We have 7 more weeks of this no running business- 1 more painful shot in April 13th- then everything should end on May 14th.
If all goes well I'm scheduling a camping trip with her for May so she can run her butt off and celebrate in tha nature.
Thanks again for everyone's donations, and love and attention to her.
We really appreciate y'all.
Love from pookie and Mel.
Paloma and I would like to thank everyone who came out for Mardi Gras to have their picture taken, all donations are going to treat this girls desease. We couldn't have done it with out you. We Love you all!!
