🕯How do we keep a balance in life that’s both healthy and sustainable? 🕯
It’s different for everyone I guess, but for me it’s often taking care of relatives. Be it humans, plantitas or the furry ones.
Getting through 2 months of what seemed like work kept piling up with no end (give thanks!!!) I forced myself to have a day for myself to recalibrate. I figure I’ll work when the sun goes down all night lol
So, Project day today:
1. Install lock for the professional escape artists (Ella & Buckley) to no longer have free range dangerous escapades.
2. Install hummingbirds hangout come May when they arrive from their travels down south YAY!
3. Hang my “Miami ‘Rocio’” plant cuz she’s been wanting to hang free. ESO!
4. Replanted my “lucky bamboo ‘Caliche’” cuz it’s been asking for another pot that’s bigger. They wanna grow!! 🕺🏽
5. And lastly, replanted my momma succulent ‘Miss Torrez’ “ (yes I name all my plants). She’s been the nurturer of all the baby propagations I’ve helped nourish over the years.
6. A nice smudge to the casita to clean up a bit. 😊
What do you to to keep a balance?! Go play in tha nature familia !!
Giving thanks for a long time friendship and many collaborations with this bad azz visual artist that never stops pushing me to see further and stop worrying about the "how", but focus more on the "what". .
"Don't worry about how we're gonna make a boat float over the trees mel, keep dreaming and envisioning without borders, with infinite possibilities of what you want to see happen. I'll worry about the math. You dream." -Jeff Becker 💫🔮
"Maa stop playing with me, did you say were going on a...........W A L K ?!!!!"

Paloma and Mel
Heading to the vet for shot #2 with my ride r die lady...she's staying over night at the hospital.
Shot 2 is supposed to be the hardest, then 30 more days of no play time but, she's strong.
Wish us luck y'all!
I'll keep you guys in the loop of how she progresses, and if all goes well ...#aboutthatcampingtrip
Thanks for all your support, and for asking about updates on the lady.
Hey everyone, for those asking about Paloma updates...
She's good. Loves her Martha Stuart doggy bed and pillow (lol)- had a rough first two days but managed with pain meds.
She's certainly showing signs of depression with no walks or play time, but I'm balancing it with extra treats and cuddles.
We have 7 more weeks of this no running business- 1 more painful shot in April 13th- then everything should end on May 14th.
If all goes well I'm scheduling a camping trip with her for May so she can run her butt off and celebrate in tha nature.
Thanks again for everyone's donations, and love and attention to her.
We really appreciate y'all.
Love from pookie and Mel.
Paloma and I would like to thank everyone who came out for Mardi Gras to have their picture taken, all donations are going to treat this girls desease. We couldn't have done it with out you. We Love you all!!
