Honestly I have no idea what I’m doing with my life and I’m having a hard time understanding the waiting part of life and these words by @morganharpernichols have left me speechless. || #patience#growth#newseason
🔊UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BUILDING AND A CHURCH📣
Brothers and sisters,
It’s important that we understand that WE are the true church of the Living God. The church is not a temple built with the hands of men, but is the temple made with the hand of God. That temple is us. Therefore, the place where we meet up to serve the Lord is called the church building; or simply put, a building/gathering place. Every one of us believers is a member of the Church, a very part of the Church, and all of us put together are Christ’s Church. There is no denomination or sect of Christianity that defines who the true Church is. That is called RELIGION, and is not of God. People who have been infested with religious demons will say that “you are not saved if you don’t attend _____ Church”. BLASPHEMY! You are saved by your faith and relationship with God through Jesus Christ, NOT by your relationship with God through a church building/denomination. Pray for those who are infested with religious spirits, and realize that we are the Church, and we ought to serve God in our daily conduct, presenting Jesus Christ to the world of sinners. Be blessed!
🔥Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,
Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest?
Hath not my hand made all these things?🔥 - Acts 7:48-50 KJV
🔥Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.🔥 - 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 KJV

Just waiting for the results of hysteroscopy... consultant due to debrief me. All fine my end. No pain now and I’ve eaten enough to feed a small army. Most annoying bit was man next to me in recovery snoring as if his life depended on him hitting the high decibels. I nearly jumped out of bed and walloped him with a pillow just to shut him up.
Home to mum @tallettsue ’s lasagne soon 😋
Thank you for all the messages of support! Husband @lvaughanjones worked a night shift @bbc_world_news last night and has been doing the radio interview rounds on his 👂🏻 hearing loss all day... HENCE why he’s not in trouble for abandoning his wife in her hour of need 😂😂
I am no behavioral psychologist or parenting expert, but I have excellent memory from age 2 till now and can definately elaborate on the issue from a child's persepective because I clearly remember why I was like that as a child.
I knew that no matter what I did or how I acted my Dad still loved and cared for me no differently than when I behaved. I was always with him and felt loved and so I was completely open and confident to be...ME.
My Dad knows me and I know my Dad. I always knew what to anticipate. Strangers however, are unpredictable! I never knew what they would do if I were bad and I certainly had no inclination to misbehave, the main reason being that it's shameful and I never wanted to embarrass myself, really.
And you know what? We all still do it! Humans have a natural tendency to be like a 'people pleaser'. When I am at church or any other place, I am courteous, smiley and polite to strangers even if I fail to consistently treat my husband that way at home or act like that with my kids all the time. Why? Because I am used to them and because family is there no matter what! My husband will still be waiting for me and my kids will always be my kids.
Just remember this. If your child can be well mannered and behaved, even if it's for others more than yourself, then you deserve more than a pat on the back because guess what? YOU taught her that!😉 YOU are raising her right💕 Your child knows how to respectfully conduce themselves with others thanks to YOU👏
