The particular ones I'm holding are Mullein that I found in the park (it's found in lots of unkept places in North America as well as other countries) 🍃 Mullein has tons of uses. It can be smoked, eaten, or used topically to treat respiratory disorders, hemmoriods, burns, bruises, and gout.
An oil from the flowers can also be used to treat earaches.
🌾 And the yellow color of the flower used to be used in yellow hairdye.
The hair is icing on the experience! Discovering the connection between us fires the passion. There are so many salons to choose from to have your hair done. Many of the women who sit in my chair share with me they look forward to Sheila time. I say it's more of a time for each to let her hair down and relax, receive support and encouragement while fueling her inner light.

My company participated with the Atlanta corporate Relay for Life. This is my second year heading up the team from my company. This year I dedicated a gold luminaria for my mom who survived cancer twice. Our team also donated gift basket items for the Silent Auction that I was happy to wrap. Giving back and participating in these types of events are a way to feel a part of a cause greater than you. Then our team got a chance to get a little physical action with all the corporate games they set up. Cornhole is my new old folk game now.
