Some challenges are simply getting outside more often for some, taking that first step into pushing boundaries or getting out of your comfort zone on a long ride or run. Despite knowing I need surgery on my stomach, I managed to make it without too much pain. Along with Injections needed in my left eye too and it’s time to cherish these rides and treks before undergoing surgery and a 4-5 month recovery in 2018. Trying to get in a few more memories before the big day arrives and shall be back on an adventure or two along with another Long European Bike ride & if fitness permits one last long run.
Ascending Porlock Hill up onto Exmoor, Autumn has delivered beautiful colours of the fall this year and we now await the arrival of Winter. JP looks back as a strong gust of wind blows a few more leaves onto our route, the rain fell, the trees creaked but the route was so memorable. 🚴👏❤️
This is the front cover of our new issue. This pony is a painting by the very talented @carolinemcmillandaveyartist - do contact her direct if you’d like to enquire about a giclee print (we’ve had a lot of enquiries!) available in a square of any size. We hope that you enjoy the winter issue, which is out now in the shops. #exmoormagazine
