I got so excited about Sabrina and Joel’s maternity session from last weekend that I sat down to edit a few and edited their entire gallery! Can’t wait to share it with them tomorrow! A few more favorites are up in my story!
Simple reminder today: pray for these fires burning up the northwest, guys. Don't forget the firefighters out there risking their lives to preserve the beauty + livelihood of our home. Pray for the thousands of people being affected by breathing all the smoke even thousands of miles away from fire zones. It hurts seeing the home I know and love like this 💔

Year 22 recap: worked 2 jobs getting ready to move out of my parents house, spent a ton of money on making the new house home, stressed out about just about everything in my personal and professional life, found 2 more gray hairs, had my heart broken, moved to Idaho 2 days later, hit rock bottom, found 3 more gray hairs, recommitted my life to Jesus, hit rock bottom again, restarted a business, found another gray hair, made new goals for myself, and began healing. ⠀
Real talk: 22 SUCKED. I have been looking forward to 23 and I’m so happy to start it! I had such a fun day (after having my annual birthday meltdown- don’t know why it happens every year 😂) and feel hopeful! 23 is the year of me! I have a good feeling about it! ⠀
Here’s to new beginnings, lots of pink alcohol, and THANK GOD that my bestie @ali_stiner for coming into town so it wouldn’t suck today!

Happy Friday eve! Tomorrow is the first of two weddings for me this weekend and I’m so excited! It’s hard to believe there are just three more weddings until my 2018 wedding season is over but I’m already looking forward to next summer!
I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes, and not sharing much on social media lately, because I’ve been thinking about YOU. How it’s not as easy as it looks to keep track of all the info you’re receiving from everyone (even your wedding photographers). How it’s frustrating to feel like you might not be planning everything you need to for your wedding day, especially all those little details that nobody thinks about. Like, how to make sure you have enough time in your timeline for all the photos you want, how to decide if you want a first look, what you need to know about preparing your wedding details to be photographed, etc.
But the truth is, all you need is my 2019 Wedding Guide! And I’ve got you. At least for the photography aspect. 😉 I’m working hard on a magazine for my 2019 wedding clients (and truthfully I had planned on having this finished for this year’s weddings too, but it took more work than I originally thought). It’s going to be full of everything you need to know to make sure your wedding photography dreams come true, and I can’t wait for you to have it!
I really cannot believe that we are halfway through August already! Where has the summer gone? I'm already making plans to wrap up wedding season and gear up for portrait season in the fall (my favorite season!). If you're looking to have photos done before the holidays sneak up on us (because we all know they will), now is the time to get in touch to snag a date on the fall calendar.
Baby’s asleep, it’s time to party. Let’s play two truths and a lie. Guess which one is the lie...
1. I was delivered by the same doctor that delivered my mom
2. I’m related to a former US President
3. I got stuck on the top of the Eiffel Tower for two hours because the elevator broke
I woke up with all the intentions to slay the busiest day of our week. Woke up early, drank coffee, and headed out early. Needless to say today still got the best of me. Wild and crazy kids + a killer headache just didn’t make it easy. However, I’m thankful today for all of the people in my life that made it all worth it. And really thankful my hubs agreed to go to the gym late tonight and sweat it out!
