Do you know I used to be a beachbody hater?
YUP, I was a total skeptic. I was a TIU + BBG die hard that thought these “coaches” were insane 🤣
It actually took me months of following my coach, to actually reach out to her.
I was an avid “at home” workout-er yet I still thought everything they stood for was a hoax. I was a TIU (Tone it Up) + BBG (Bikini Body Guide) follower. I created a secret Instagram account for accountability as I followed those programs, yet I was struggling to get sustainable results.
I was consistently down about 10 of the 25 pounds I needed to lose, but kept yo-yoing, losing and gaining the same 5 pounds.
I will never bash either, because I loved them both for different reasons. YET each of them was missing something that I needed.
SO one night I was at my lowest, tired of wasting my time & money, I filled out my coaches bootcamp application ready to waste my $ on ONE last thing.
That ONE last thing, completely changed my life. 3 short months later I was down 25 pounds and earning extra money back on my investment, sharing these incredible programs with others who I KNEW needed this. Who were struggling just like I was.
And to think I was skeptical of spending that $160, id spend $5,000 now if I knew what I was about to gain.
Still skeptical? That’s fine. But those of you who are ready to dive in & change your direction, never be afraid to reach out to me! 👯♀️
Cruising into Monday with my heart full. 💗⠀
I purposely booked my return flight so I'd make it home in time to put James to bed. While I treasure the quiet moments we share during his bedtime routine, lately it's become more about a rush to the finish line than really being present with him.⠀
My long weekend away yanked me out of that pattern. And when I snuggled up to read to him last night, I found myself transported back his babyhood, when feeling him fall asleep in my arms was the most delicious feeling ever. I recaptured that feeling as we we lay facing each other, chatting about his adventures with dad and his excitement about Halloween. ⠀
It was the perfect, final reminder of what I've been thinking all weekend long: I'm a better mom when I make myself priority #1. We all are. ✌🏻🖤💆🏼♀️⠀
Legs up the wall after 9 MILES today! Sure, I had to break it up into 6 & 3 but you know what, I don’t even care. 😂 Long run is done & that’s 19 miles for the week! Plus all of the walking we did in NYC (25 miles), needless to say my legs feel it but it’s all good. It’s worth it & will pay off in January. My 6 mile run this afternoon was one of the hardest in a while. Real feel of 95 & humid plus the sun just beat down on me the whole time. Hardly any clouds like I’d thought there’d be & our neighborhood has minimal shade. Not complaining, I know running is a privilege & I’m so grateful... just saying every bit of those 6 miles I fought hard for... like every mile I had to convince myself not to just go home & take a nap instead. 🤣 Marathon training isn’t easy, I definitely prefer half’s but I’m doing this to prove to myself I can & embrace the challenge. Thankful I’ve got so many inspirational people to run for that keep me going everyday! 💗 Now bring on the actual cold front Texas, we are ready! ❄️
|| EARLY DAYS POSTNATAL + CORE STRENGTH ||
Should we be doing anything? Not necessarily… but these exercises are safe and beneficial for when you feel like starting to engage your core again.
- A strong core isn’t only your abdominals and isn’t about a six pack. Your core is the combination of your anterior abdominal muscles, pelvic girdle and lower back muscles.
- These work together to provide stabilisation for the body, protection for the internal organs and pelvic floor.
- An engaged abdominal area will promote correct postural alignment, reducing the risk of back pain.
Postnatally we need to be careful as there may be separation of the abdominal muscles which we do not want to encourage. Any exercise that cause ‘doming’ of these muscles - for example, crunches or planks - should be avoided.
I worked with @voguewilliams to gently activate her core muscles. The following exercises (from this video) are great:
1. TA breathing - lie flat, knees bent, spine neutral. Deep breath in and on the exhale tighten your core from the front, and importantly, the sides. Imagine you have a tight belt on. Hold for 3 seconds and relax as you inhale again. (This is hard to see in the video, but super effective for ‘finding’ those core muscles again and promotes them knitting back together)
2. Elbow to knee - promotes a strong back and core working in tandem.
3. Hip raises - Again focus on abs and back, and great for glutes also.
4. Add arms for an extra stabilisation challenge.
5. Supported side plank - hold this position or add an arm circle for a great stretch.
Do each exercise 10x - take a rest, then do again.
Any questions, give me a DM. #mamawell#postnatalfitness
[i LOVE Monday’s]⠀
Today kicks off my 12th monthly success group with a group of determined women who are all working to be just a little better than they were the day before. ⠀
And they’re transforming their lives. ⠀
🔴Not in a crash diet. ⠀
🔴Not starving themselves of the things they love. ⠀
🔴Not by tracking macros and tallying any off-plan foods and naughty marks in the book. ⠀
🔴Not by punishing themselves each day for choices made the day, month or years before. ⠀
🔴not by eating cardboard and taking tablets to try and feel full⠀
So to my ladies who are starting or restarting their journeys today—I salute your courage, perseverance and determination to evolve yourself ! ⠀
The Monday Dinner in my house is pictured ⤴️⠀
Hubby and I like to try and create our favourite things we would get in a takeaway 🥡 using healthier options and this one is a SLAM DUNK!! ⠀
Inspired by #lorrainepascale and packed with veggies and goodness—it has become a weekly staple for us—prep is 15 mins, cooking is about 15. My hubby is the master of this one 🙌🏻

I made you.
Every eyelash, arm roll + dimple.
As you grew, my belly followed.
My one craving? Peanut butter.
I ate a lot of peanut butter.
Every kick felt like home.
My pelvis hurt, my boobs were sore +
my arse was non-existent.
But I still wanted you.
I asked every day for you.
It was a Thursday.
You came in screaming.
My heart popped.
My eyes flooded.
I didnt matter.
I made you.
Current Status: consumed too many ham and cheese bakery croissants, jam donuts and chocolate. Tanned AF and contemplating buying a caravan and living like a nomad 🍃 #contentAF

Our new instructor @z.w.chapman has been on a little journey of her own on the last three months. And look how far she’s come. Take a quick read, will take you a few minutes. ・・・
I’ve thought a lot about posting my before and after photos and whether I wanted to share them, but here goes. After having Jaxon 19months ago I lost a lot of body confidence, I felt like my body was destroyed I got stretch marks from my belly/hips all the way down to my ankles, I did everything I could to cover them up! 19months on and I feel amazing with body, I have so much more confidence back, my stretch marks on my legs have gone, my belly and hips have faded so much you can barely see them. I look at my before and after photos and I feel so proud of myself I have done this with determination, help from loved ones, and healthy eating. I have come such a long way in just a few months and still not finished my journey. The last photos were only 3 months apart, taken June 1st and taken this morning. Im 2 stone down from before I was pregnant. When I went into labour I was 102kg/ 16stone I am now weighing in at 75kg/ 12 and half stone. Most of all thank you to @conor.styles and my mum @chapmanmirari for the kick up the ass I need when I’m having a lazy week. Also to @fungifitness for getting me back in a gym and allowing me to teach classes again, I absolute love it and didn’t realise how much I missed being in a gym. 💪🏼#determination#progressphotos#projectbride#postbabybody#feelingproud#traininganddiet
