There are two kinds of happy hours that I so dearly enjoy. Both have their own kind of therapeutic value.😉 .
My #1 is taking at least one hour most days to move my body, either in or out of the gym. There are sooooo many benefits to exercising and getting your heart pumping. Simply to destress and elevate your mood is enough to get me going. What are your favorite kinds of activities and have you done any of them today? 😊
Week 5 is COMPLETE 😱
This girl doesn’t have to do any workouts this weekend if I don’t wanna 😉 Today was LEG day and ouch..... tomorrow is going to be rough! When you start to take a booty pic (cause leg day... duh!) but notice new back muscles POPPIN’ 👉🏼 you get this photo 😂👏🏼
I have never felt more confident in my LIFE 🙌🏼 Before I became a coach I hated looking in the mirror. I hated pictures of myself. I complained, felt bad for myself, but didn’t do anything about it.... for a long time 🤷🏼♀️
The tools and community were there for me all along, I just had to make the choice START and never give up. So far, so good 💕
#FLashBackFriday to the night (4 year ago today!) my amazing husband surprised me on a private beach in Maui at sunset and we renewed our vows. ••
It was such a magical moment and although we had only been married for 4.5 years at the time, I loved saying "I DO" all over Again! •
Living this oilfield life is so crazy and tough as we don't get to see each other as much as we would like but there is no one that i would like to go through this life with. •

👋🏻 this summer caught me off guard. As some of you know, I’m a photographer with @rachelcampbellphoto, and I friggin LOVE what I do. Like, I die every time I send a gallery and I’ve been so proud of the work I have done this busy season. Have I “let myself go” a little in the fitness stuff? No. Honestly I wrote that meaning to say yes, I had... but naw. I had some real breakthroughs this summer when it came to body image and balancing my life with my diet and loving my body, my business, my kids and marriage, two Instagram accounts, etc etc. I chose my priorities very carefully and gaining the 15-20 pounds I have gained since April is a wonderful casualty while I found myself. Buying pants that fit my new bigger booty was a liberating experience and not a traumatizing one. Am I still dieting? Hellz yeah because as I find balance I will also find ways to better myself, always. And I hope you do too.
The wine is chilling, the husband is cooking dinner, I am taking all of this off, sticking my greasy hair on top of my head and putting fresh pjs on ✅ The HAPPIEST of Fridays 💛 #happywifehappylife#weekendvibes#timetochill
⚠ LONG POST ALERT.. But worth the read! ⚠
I was given a really nice compliment from a lady at the gym recently and it got me thinking about body image and how we see ourselves.
Why are we as women so hard on ourselves?! I obviously can’t speak personally about men and body image, so let’s focus on women and my personal experience! There is so much talk out there about empowering women and lifting each other up, and while we absolutely should continue to do these things, are we forgetting about ourselves in the process?! Would you ever speak to another woman/person the way you speak to yourself? What do you see when you look in the mirror or a picture of yourself? My guess, your thoughts are more negative than positive, and believe me, I am as guilty as the next girl. Don’t even get me started if that photo is “candid”!! I would never look at a woman and tell her the things I tell myself when I look in the mirror, but why is that? Why can we not look at ourselves the way we look at other women? The truth is, the way we see others, is not the same as we see ourselves. I have always said “just once, I would like to see myself the way others see me”. The truth in that statement is really quite sad when you think about it.
I recently went on a 16 week cut (I say cut, as I really am tired of the word dieting) and instead of being proud of how far I had come and my success, I picked myself apart and still was not happy. I told myself I needed more muscle, I needed to lose more in my stomach, my love handles will never go away; the list goes on and on.
Which brings me back to the compliment I received. It started with her commenting on my weight loss, she proceeded to tell me how amazing I looked and that by lifting heavy, I have changed my whole body composition (which she isn’t wrong about lifting heavy..but that’s for another day another time lol). In that moment, she made me feel really good about my progress..I mean, who doesn’t like to hear all their hard work is noticeable??? ⬇️CONTINUED IN THE COMMENTS ⬇️
