I feel like either this mirror or the stripped bottoms are deceiving because this certainly ain’t what it looks like live. 😂 And I didn’t photoshop either. I’m making the effort to walk in the mornings just to get me out of the house, outside of any workout. It’s nice to get some fresh air going through your lungs and soaking up some sun vitamins too! ☀️ .

SNACCIDENT . . .
I just went to the gym & I’m out for dinner. I really want to try & stay relatively on track but after a decent weights session, I’m hungry & don’t think I can wait until dinner! I know that this makes me more likely to overindulge...so... here it is, my answer to that! ☺️ . . .
Boiled egg, wrapped in a sheet of fresh ham. Took less than 10 minutes to make, less than 1 minutes to scoff, but I know it’ll keep me away from the olives, the nuts, the extra sides👌🏼 I’m really off runny yolks at the moment so I boiled it for 7.5 minutes. Go a minute less for a runny yolk! I’m also not into protein shakes either. I managed to get myself up at 6 today even though I was so tired! I’m always in bed by 10. Lights out. So I manage to get between 8-9 hours a night!
It just makes me feel so much better in myself getting a good night sleep.
🛏 Sleep is so important for controlling your appetite and this is down to the hormones leptin and ghrelin. Ghrelin increases your appetite and leptin suppresses it. When your body is deprived of sleep, your levels of ghrelin increase and leptin decrease-thus leading to feelings of hunger although you may not be!
💡 Sleep is also important to keep you focused and your memory sharp, if your starting to become forgetful or have a lack of focus during the afternoon- try going to bed an hour earlier!
🥣 as well as a good nights sleep, a healthy, filling breakfast is always a great way to kick off the day!
This morning I had a bowl of porridge with s/s milk, topped with nectarine, blueberries, blackberries, pecans, banana and sunflower seeds! A mixture of all 3 macronutrients, including a great source of fibre, keeping me full until lunch! A great little breakfast after my morning workout and it looks yummy too!
