The jury is in. I have to quit @10fitnessar because my Instagram friends voted it so 🙃. Blatant #misogyny and #sexism are on display with the way they enforce a fabricated dress code. Swipe to photo 2, where you will see a trainer at the gym showing his entire midriff, while mine is exposed only a few inches 🤔 stay for more on my confrontation on Monday 😂
Progress isn’t just weight loss!
Can you run further?
Can you do more reps?
Can you lift more weight?
Has your form improved?
Really... are you better than you were before? Have you improved and have you become more knowledgeable?
We focus so much on weight loss that we forget to celebrate our other accomplishments and really see how far we’ve actually come.
The photo on the left was me squatting 205, heaviest I’ve ever squatted. On the right I was squatting 270 at the top of the lift, and at my meet I hit a 303 squat. 9 months between the two pictures! Almost 100# increase... My squat is deeper, the weight is higher, and the load is easier. I fell in love with powerlifting and the process, and to really look how far I’ve come in just 9 months is amazing. Improve your technique, fall in love with the process, and the result will follow!
There’s more to fitness than you physique, so don’t forget to celebrate your other accomplishments!! Comment something you’ve accomplished physically that has nothing to do with fat loss!

Horribly heavy to bench today, day after doing extremely heavy deltoid training with both low reps and high reps. I destroyed my delts yesterday, both front and side, and could barely lift my arms up in the morning today. Just shaving was hard, as I had to hold the trimmer up to shoulder height in front of the mirror. 😂 My left shoulder, in particular, was killing me. So today I just did every rep in a fashion where I just focused on moving the bar as fast as possible. I was surprised I got 6 reps on 120 at first - it felt like I would struggle to get 4-5. But I just HAD to do some bench work today, as I was training with my brother, and we had planned on doing some bench work together. So yea... Just went with it. Was planning on doing 3 x 5 with 120 at first... But you know me.. So I moved up to 130 after 2 sets of 120. And then, STUPID AS I AM, I went to 140 too LOL. My brother just laughed, and so did I. That was after 120 x 6, 120 x 5 and 130 x 1, while feeling fuuuuuucked up. Basically just said fuck it and went aggressive in on it today - and it still moved to the top, so I was extremely happy with it. Will 100% for sure push this weight for 3-4 reps in not long. You can fucking bet I will.
I am very happy with this workout overall. A few months ago, I would be over the moon to do this on a recovered day, and 140 would then be my all time best gym lift while being 100% recovered. Next time, I will try to hit something like 120 x 9, 130 x 5 or 140 x 3. We'll see. Some serious PRs are bound to be broken now.
My brother asked me how far I think I can take my bench strength now. I haven't thought much about this before, but since he asked, I thought about it. And I said, "about 180 kg". I actually think that's possible now. Probably not much more tho, unless I shorten ROM more or gain some significant amount of weight etc. But really... It no longer feels impossible. Still a long way to go, obviously, but it's a good sign when you genuinly can see yourself do something in the future, and feel that you sort of know how to get there. Enough time just needs to pass, basically.

Arctic Zero sent over a care package of 7 tubs of their light ice cream... as you can see, I already devoured one of them 😂
In all honesty, this has to be the best tasting ice cream with a wide variety of flavors! I can’t wait to try the rest of them🍦
