Staying on track with meals out...
There will most likely come a time in your fat loss phase when meals out with friends will pop up.
How you deal with this is pretty important when it comes to staying on track 👇
I’m ALL for LIVING life so when I’m not competing or @teamjgfit Clients are in gaining phases or it’s a special occasion I don’t expect myself or others to plan a meal out like a military operation, put my fitness pal away and enjoy the meal/experience.
When fat loss is the goal and we have goals to meet, planning ahead is the best way to stay on track.
The simplest way to do this is look at the menu the day or day before you’re going, pick your food choice and if available use the online nutrition info and if it’s not available make a best guess effort at what it will contain.
This way all you need to do is eat the rest of your days food around the meal you’ve got planned in 🙌
Also if you underestimate or overestimate you can always make up for it the day after, our calories are not just a 24 hour window & can always be adapted so you’re on track with a weekly deficit.

Anyone who knows me well knows I can cook 😏 but its definitely down my list on my favourite things to do.
Helps so much having @lifestyle_mealz in my corner getting me through the week. ❤❤
⤵️ Some weeks I get 21, some weeks 10 meals. Depends on my time, how I feel, the plans I have and if Sarah has time to cook much.
But all I have to do is send a message through and they cover ever base for me.
Now I just send my diet plan through and it's done. Never dealt with a company so flexible, easy to deal with and consistent with meals and delivery times.
Highly highly recommend giving these guys a follow, two fully trained chefs with years of experience who have only just recently given everything to follow their passion of running this type of business.

- We all love to have a defined six pack and for that it’s essential to have a low body fat percentage so with that being said cardiovascular work is always welcome to reduce our body fat levels. It only makes sense to combine cardio and abs. One of my biggest concerns about training is to always do efficient work! I don’t know about you but i don’t like to exercise for super long periods of time! That’s why you need to think outside the box and make sure you get the best of each second of your effort.
⚠️ Perform as a circuit 5 times rest at end of each round for 1min
1️⃣ Banded V crunches 15 reps
2️⃣ 1min mountain climbers to frog stance
3️⃣ 1min cross climbers

The truth is, your diet is number one. You can live in the gym, but if you don’t eat clean your wasting your time. Sell yourself short on nutrition and you’re selling yourself short on maximizing your physique development.
I am a huge believer in living a balanced lifestyle. Obviously in comp prep I don’t have any cheat meals, and I consume clean, whole foods only. Yes it can get very repetitive, but that’s all a part of the sport! When I’m in my off season, 85% of my diet consists of clean, nutrient rich whole foods. For the other 15% I’ll treat myself to donuts and pizza because I LOVE FOOD lol! This works for me. It allows me to enjoy life while maintaining the physique I work my ass off in the gym for every single day. Find what works for you, and stick to it! #cb
