You guys, I discovered a NSV this morning!!!! 🙏🙌😭💕🎉
Okay so, this shirt has been hanging in my closet with tags on it, since last winter, it wouldn't even go on past my arms(vulnerable moment, I was embarrassed to share that piece with yall 🙈) WELL I decided to try it on this morning just to see where I stand also because it feels like winter outside today. . . And holy moly, IT FIT!!!!!! A teeny bit snug, but it still fit! Same with the pants, they would cut into my belly so I hadn't worn them in forever. It feels amazing to see a difference somewhere else instead of being bummed over the scale not moving.
Here is what I’ve come to realize... Make time Every.Single.Day for Personal Development! Sometimes I can get 10 minutes and sometimes I get over an hour! But the no excuse, nonnegotiable NEEDS to be to get it in!!!! Don’t like to read? Listen to a podcast. Listen in the car, while you cook dinner, clean the house, take a bath.. just Do It!!!! You will be amazed at the person you will become when you pour into yourself daily!!! 💜💜💜
Well I did it! One of my biggest achievements to date. I was asked to be a guest speaker at the Houses of Parliament for the VFL 10
Year awards ceremony. To be able to talk about creating the first ever UK vegan festival in a care home was wonderful and something I am extremely proud of. It is so important to be an advocate for the older generation of vegans in our country. So often their voices go unheard, their requests brushed under the carpet as they are seen as “fussy” or “picky”, I spoke today to raise awareness of the actions we can take to ensure the residents in our care are given every opportunity possible to live cruelty free lives when living in the care setting...it’s what they’ve always wanted and it’s what they deserve. Very proud moment 🌱✊🏼#HousesofParliament#veganspeaker#speech#proudmoment#lovedeverysecondofit#whatvegansdo#whatveganslooklike
