I've been sharing my weight loss journey in my stories throughout this year. Even though I am making slow progress, it's still progress. Don't get caught up in life that you forget to take care of yourself. This body is a temple. We must care for it, we must respect it, and we must cherish it. I've learned that lifting weights is not just for men. Women, weights burn calories even after you've completed your workout. Cardio is great to get that blood circulating and that heart pumping but seeing your body change comes when you lift weights and do targeted exercise. I eat my veggies. Chicken, seafood, and one serving of beef a week is my meat choices. I still occasionally eat something sweet or a personal size bag of chips. I don't deprive myself.
