The new defuser mechanics have just been released on the TTS, and to be honest, they look awful. While the animation changes are, in my eyes at least, an aesthetic improvement, the functionality seems absolutely broken. Defusers can now be disabled with any direct line-of-sight as long as it is within range. As you can see in the videos, this means that defusers can now be disabled through walls, doors, even single bullet holes, no matter how small, as long as there is a line-of-sight within range, it can be disabled.
Keep in mind that this is still only in testing, and we can only hope that Ubisoft will have their ears open for the waves of fans and pros that will surely pour out to show either un daunting support or furious outrage at this new addition.
