Somehow, all the dogs ended up on the @karmaanimaltrust “human bench” and the humans well.... we were busy cleaning after them, washing their laundry, preparing their food...you know the usual..... how the H did we end up in that role 🤔🤨🤔🤨🤔.
From left to right: Bella recovering from her spay, Nikki recovering from intestinal obstruction (many weeks post op, had many other problems), Franky picked up from the streets with a fist-size infected wound on his back (he destroyed our wall when left alone but sleeps all day when we’re here 😤), Ginger (spayed last week but) managed to get a tiny bit of her suture line infected so was brought back - 2days in with rest, dressing and antibiotics and she is almost ready to go back - I highly suspect she did it on purpose as she does enjoy being treated like a pet! 😆 And lastly tiny Kirikou hiding at the bottom, 4 days post-op, being released today.
I'm slowly coming out of whatever crazy sickness that was and felling better today after a long night's rest and a missed morning Sadhna. At the Retreat Center last night, they just happen to serve auspicious fruit seed things that are considered to be medicine in the Ayurvedic tradition. They were very sour. I ate four and immediately felt them working. I don't know their name and didn't take a picture. Pictured here are some absolutely gorgeous figs that I didn't eat, as they were street food sold on the filthy streets of Ram Jhula. Grateful for my health and speedy recovery! Om Shanti! #beautifulindia#ayruveda#donteatthestreetfood#ramjhula#auspiciuosfruit#healinghappens#iloveindia#figs#blessed#prayersanswered#omshanti 🙏🏼✨🕉
