Movie Review - The Adventures Of Tintin (2011)
PG , 107 Minutes
While shopping at an outdoor market, young reporter Tintin (Jamie Bell), accompanied by his faithful dog, Snowy, buys a model of an old ship called the Unicorn. A shady character named Sakharine (Daniel Craig) tries to buy the model from him, but Tintin refuses. The lad discovers that the ship contains a clue about a hidden treasure, but before he can locate it, Tintin is kidnapped and given over to the custody of drunken Capt. Haddock (Andy Serkis).
I saw this movie in theaters when it came out and didn’t think much of it. After watching it again, I think it’s great for what it is, an animated PG action film. There have been some great ones, examples including The Empire Strikes Back and The Incredibles, But I think this could’ve been a little more violent, pushing for a PG-13 rating. The animation is pretty good and the soundtrack makes the film a lot better. While this isn’t the most memorable of movies, it does have voice actors from some great action franchises (James Bond, Marvel, Mission : Impossible). In any case, the whole pirate fight just didn’t work for me. Although I liked the scene, I just felt like it was in the wrong movie. I wouldn’t choose to rent this movie, but it’s the kind of thing I would watch a little bit of if it was on TV at the moment.

Bronc riding, either bareback bronc or saddle bronc competition, is a rodeo event that involves a rodeo participant riding on a horse (sometimes called a bronc or bronco) that attempts to throw or buck off the rider.

THE PREDATOR MOVIES RANKED
1)Predator (1987): surely the best movie in this installment, even though I still think that it's a little but overrated. Sure, the first Predator turned out to be a major success, both for the critics and for the general moviegoers, sure, the cast is incredibly charismatic, the action scenes are stunning, the suspense effect is on point, the script and direction are great, and all you want, but at the end of the day Predator is about a monster/alien who hunts down a bunch of machos, white VERY LITTLE world building and very little explanation about the background and mithogy.
All and all I would give it a solid 7+ out of 10, but not more.
2)Predator 2 (1990): the sequel for Predator was a letdown for me. The protagonist doesn't have his predecessor's charisma, the plot isn't as interesting as the first one, the dialogues are really cheesy at moments, and the fun element waters down the movie as a whole. All and all Predator 2 was very forgettable in my opinion, and not comparable to the first one.
Final Score: 5.5 out of 10.
3)The Predator (2018) now, this is the last movie in the franchise, a movie which was hated on, in my opinion partially unfairly. Sure, there are a lot of negatives here: A LOT OF THE COMEDY doesn't land, the CGI for the big Predator and his dogs is ATROCIOUS, the ending is nonsense, the characters are kind of cartoonish and so on. BUT I also have to say, that this movie provides for the gore and the fun that a fan of the franchise wants to experience at theaters, it explores the Predator universe and it latches with its predecessors in a satisfactory way.
To sum it up, it's bad, but not terrible as everyone is saying.
Final Score: 5 out of 10
4)Predators (2010): now, this guys, is by far the worst Predator movie. Sure, the technical compartment is improved upon its predecessors, but the plot is SO confusing and without any explanation about what's going on that it's impossible not to give it a 4 out of 10. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT .
