We’re happy to welcome Melissa Becker to the 2️⃣🍊🍊 club. We love hearing success stories and here’s definitely another one. We’re all so proud Melissa: "200 classes, what can I say?! I was a skeptic. I kept hearing about Orange Theory Fitness on Facebook and decided to come check it out one day. I signed up for a free class and the workout kicked my butt! I decided to enroll and was only going to stick with it for a few months because I figured it would be the same old workout day after day and it would eventually get boring and old and quit working for me. Boy was I wrong! The workouts are ALWAYS different and ALWAYS challenging. In fact, I don't believe I have ever done the same workout twice. I have been an avid exerciser for many years having had memberships at other gyms, dropping into classes and even working out at home, but OTF has motivated me to push harder, step out of my comfort zone of doing the same thing all time and give it that little bit extra that over time does make a difference. When I first started I had never run/jogged on a treadmill (or ever to be honest) so I power walked. I'm not a fan of the incline and one day tried jogging to avoid it. I stuck with it and have now up'd my base, push and all out pace by at least 1.5 miles an hour. It's a huge accomplishment for me to say that I ran a mile on a treadmill!
OTF is different than other gyms; the trainers are enthusiastic, encouraging and motivating and teaching the classes is not just their 'job', they actually like what they do and care about the success of the members. The atmosphere is great; from the little pep talks in the waiting room before class to the high fives after the workouts.
People tell me that I look 'fit' and it's seriously the best compliment ever! I love the saying "If it doesn't Challenge you, it will never Change you" and it is so true for me because I am in better shape now than I have ever been and I owe it all to my workouts at OTF! Here's to the next 200!!" Looking awesome. Keep burning. 3️⃣🍊🍊 in no time. 💪🏻🍊❤️ #keepburning#orangetheoryfitness#orangetheoryfitnessreddeer#reddeer#otfreddeer#orangetheory#otfnation#otf200club#200workouts
It’s not often we allow ourselves to do nothing. I mean truly do nothing. Last night I booked myself in at the @thefloatshack and in doing so gave myself 90 minutes to do nothing. No thinking about what needs to get done, no worrying about the things giving me stress and anxiety, nothing. Sure, my brain was still active with a million different thoughts, but 90 minutes of nothingness flew by in a heartbeat and I exited that float tank feeling just a little bit lighter.
I want to share this gift of nothing with you! I’m giving away one free float to a lucky winner.
To enter, follow @thebexfactor and @thefloatshack, like this post and tag a friend who could also use the gift of nothing.
Winner will be drawn on Monday, December 18.
